VBS 2009: Boomerang Express

This year's VBS theme was Boomerang Express, in Australia. i helped out in the teaching team as a helper for Std 5&6, Bondi Surfers. The kids were obedient and more matured. For the afternoon session, i helped out in Recreation, where games are held.

I really had fun with the kids, especially the younger ones. They are really adorable! The whole camp was 5 days, and it was 5 days of FUN! I spent great time hanging out with my friends and the kids, and helping the teachers. i also got to know them better. it is definitley one of the highlights of my year. :)

World Toilet Day!!

Right now, i'm hooked to the song "More Than Words" by Westlife.

It's a really beautiful song and i melt when i hear it. Any guy that can serenade this song (with guitar) to me can totally win me over! ;) Of course, with other conditions too.

It's also the last day of school today. I'm gonna miss coming to school for the next 2 months. Oh well, hope i'll have fun during the holidays. Today was a really fun day. ;)

Maybe.. Well, there's nothing much to blog about today. Same old same old. Yesterday my dad was teaching me how to feel the piano pieces i was playing for my exam, so we googled Claude Debussy's Children's Corner. I saw Debussy's picture, and i think he looked small. His daughter looked a little bit like him, and she passed away at 13, a year after her dad's death. Tragic, no? Nonetheless, he was a great composer. Claire de Lune is a beautiful piece by him too. My dad says its so nice it makes him sleep. Agreed.

School's gonna end in two more weeks! Pffttt... Time flies super fast, and i know i might sound insane, but i think im gonna miss school. *Sigh* I'll be spending my holidays going for youth camp and helping out in VBS :) Hi to the little kids again. I'll be helping out in teaching this year although previously i was in the worship team.

BTW, This Is It was not bad. Maybe my expectation was to high. It's basically just a documentary about his last rehearsal. After watching it, i felt that it was a waste when he died. :( HE's really awesome! Check him out. Ill give it 3 1/2 stars

Whoo! Exam is over!! Was supposed to go out to shop and catch a movie, BUT there was cheer workshop. Damn potong right? Cheer workshops happen to always be on the last day of exams.. Anyways, it was kinda fun teaching the newbies stuff. Reminds me of how i was 2 years ago...

Im gonna watch MJ's movie tomorrow!! Whee!! My mum bought my family tickets. We have not watched a movie in ages. Hears that the movie was pretty awesome, and touching. I'll re-update after watching the movie! :)

After workshop, Crys, Wei Wen, Wen Han, Andrea and i walked to ou. I bought a pair of new sandals from cotton on. The shoes there are pretty cheap. I saw lots of people buying those colorful ballet flats. I wanted the red cloth ones but there wasn't any in my size. Pfft... Ill come back another day.

Today in class, i had the Disney mood suddenly, so i belted out a few Disney songs. Sigh. The memories they had... I wanna say a special thank you to my class mates that had to listen to my singing.
